The degree of acoustic insulation of a building envelope, which is only attainable through the passive acoustic requirements of buildings, involves legal obligation for every new implementation or building renovation, apart from the maintenance works. The management of the issues concerning noise inside the same building unit is sometimes just as important as other terms that the inhabitant cannot afford to not carry out. In the design and planning field it is therefore essential to translate these aspects into specific technical instructions that operatively unfold introducing the following design paperwork:

• acoustic modelling and design for specific environments;
• project reports regarding the inspection of passive acoustic requirements of the building.
